Look elsewhere if you care about pricing and customer satisfaction! 2 weeks of working with castle works, paying them $550 (almost $3500), and nothing is completed! From one military person to the next, find someone else! This review is not aimed at the ...plumber himself but management. My plumber was a very knowledgeable and professional guy and did his best to help me in multiple ways. I have a Bradford white aerotherm heat pump that I’ve been trying to get fixed for the past two weeks. I called Castle Works on a Wednesday night and they weren’t able to send me out somebody until Monday even after I told them I have a 1 month old premature baby requiring hot water for extra sanitation reasons. After the plumber came out, I had to order a part that was overnight shipped from Bradford White and I did not receive a call or a scheduled appointment until the following Saturday from Castle Works. I was charged $550 for a flush and to swap out a circuit board for 45 minutes of work, assuming it would fix everything. However, two days later I was having more problems with the water heater. I called castle works out and then they said that they could not handle fixing the solution and that I needed to replace the whole hot water heater itself. Castleworks quoted me $2850 to replace a water heater that is three years old and under warranty so $2850 simply for labor. I asked if I could have the already paid expenses put toward the bill due to the job not being complete and the work being done on a faulty system itself but they declined the reimbursement. I then called three other plumbers who all quoted me around $1800 to replace the pump. I talked to the manager and he showed no care in the world for customer satisfaction, answered all of my questions with what seemed to be a scripted response, and refused to work with me for the job completion. I am paying $550 for work that did not complete the job on a water heater that I have to replace anyway. Lee Frei was fantastic. Knowledgeable and professional and friendly. I and my husband were impressed with his expertise and experience. He came to service our water heater, which was not heating up. He informed us of our options in a clear and ...understandable manner. He also performed a descaling of the unit and serviced the filter. He was well prepared for the job and completed it in a timely manner. We would definitely request Lee Frei if we need further service or if we need to buy a new unit in the future.
